First Graduation Ceremony of UTB students trained under AIESEC in MICRO-ENTERPRISE PROJECT



AIESEC is a leading global student-run organisation, accredited by the Department of Public Information (DPI), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO). AIESEC also has Roster consultative status to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations countries. As the world’s largest student-run organization, present in over 5000 Universities across 128 countries around the world, AIESEC provides a platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential, they provide their  members with Leadership opportunities, International Internships, conferences and several platforms to enable them attain the heights, dreams as well as the direction to their ambition.

In line with their  mission to make a positive difference, AIESEC in Rwanda implements a Micro–Enterprise Project 2016 which is a Program that gives training to students who are interested in becoming future entrepreneurs and business owners.

After the trainings of three months together with AIESEC  we tried  to match them to different funding opportunities available while we also continue to coach and Mentor them in their started business.

38 UTB students this Friday 14th October 2016 have graduated and received the certificates of completion. This graduation ceremony was held in UTB Conference hall.
