UTB STUDENTS AND STAFF PLANTED 5000 TREES AND ISSUING 1000 HEALTH INSURANCE TO GAHANGA POPULATION, KICUKIRO DISTRICT

to

Students and staff of the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies planted 5000 trees in Gahanga Sector, Kicukiro District, and issued Mutual Health Insurance known as Mutuelle to the 1000 families in first class of Ubudehe. This activity is in one of the objectives of UTB for contributing to the socio-economic development of the population where university works.

The Mayor of Kicukuro District Dr. NYIRAHABIMANA Jeanne pleased with this activity and other activities that UTB is actively participating in achieving performance contract of Kicukiro Distict. She added that “We can’t say that we are fine while our neighbor are not, nor we can say that we get medical services while other aren’t; I really thank UTB for its contribution in achieving our district performance of this year.”

One beneficially of health insurance Madame NAKABONYE Saverine was exalted with joy and thanked UTB for offering insurance to her and his little sons, she mentioned that now I can go the hospital because I have insurance, I will never use traditionally medicine herbs as I used when I did have insurance, May God bless the organizer of this activity, I am really happy!”

The Founder and President of UTB Mme MUKARUBEGA Zulfat said that UTB looks to foster the partnership with Kicukiro District in different activities and she added that UTB will never stop contributing to the development of population and give example to the youth of the country.
