UTB HOSTED JRIIE INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE IN KIGALI

UTB hosted the 2nd JRIIE International Conference for two days, the research from different countries attend this conference and presented their paper. This conference held at Ubumwe Grande Hotel and was guided by the theme “RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FOR QUALITY LIVING AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.” The researchers were called upon to come up with creative ideas and research findings which will advocatequality living without interfering with the welfare of the future generation. It is out of this background that the present research conference addresses various issues in a scholarly approach. The theme was subdivided into several key areas including tourism and hospitality, food and security, science and technology, quality education, good governance, health sciences and sustainable entrepreneurship.

Prof Ndiku, editor in-chief of JRIIE (Journal of Research Innovation and Implications in Education) stated that researchers are solutions to World’s challenges;The World is facing many challenges which cannot be solved by ordinary people, as researcher we do not have time to rest, we have a huge work to crack those challenges scientifically.

Papers presented at this research conference will go through peer review process and upon recommendations of the JRIIE editorial experts, findings will be published in the journal. JRIIE is a Pear reviewed International Scholarly platform whose aim is to inspire, motivate and nurture researchers from various corners of the world.  The Vision of the journal is maintaining International Journal status that grows and nurtures young scholars into mature and experienced Researchers. The Mission is to provide quality and accessible research findings and innovations for Global Advancement.

In this conference 77 papers were presented and 39 Researchers from UTB presented their works under twelve sub-themes, with focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).There were also researchers from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and USA where some presented their paper using Video conference.
